Paper Pieced Accordian Card

Paper Piecing is something I find extremely difficult with my eyesight but I was determined to give this one a go!

The card is for the challenges at:
Fresh Brewed Designs - Paper Piecing + Accordian Card
http://freshbreweddesigns.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/march-month-long-prize-challenge.html
Broken Box Stock - Spring
http://brokenboxstock.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-23-think-spring.html
Digi Haven - Spring
http://digihaven.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/spring-challenge-sponsored-by-mygrafico.html
Digital Tuesday - Spring Colours
http://digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.se/2013/03/challenge-203-spring-colours.html

I created the background for this card using Distress Inks - Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint and Pine Needles - along with an acrylic stamp of birds (not sure of brand though).

The image is from Fresh Brewed Designs and is called Hello Winter and can be found here:
http://www.freshbreweddesigns.com/category_102/Christmas-Girls.htm
The sentiments are both from Create with TLC and can be found by following the Store link here:
http://createwithtlc-createwithtlc.blogspot.co.nz/

The paper that I have used for the paper piecing comes from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The glittery swirl comes from Rosies Studio.

Spring Birds

Some cute little birds for this card:

The card is for the following challenges:
From the Heart Sketches - Sketch # 11
http://designed2delight.com/blog/2013/03/i-heart-card-sketches-no-11/
Nutcrafters - Spring
http://nutcrafters.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/good-morning-crafters.html

Broken Box Stock - Think Spring

Digi Haven - Spring
http://digihaven.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/spring-challenge-sponsored-by-mygrafico.html

I have used the sketch from From the Heart Sketches above as the basis for this card.  I rotated the sketch.  The image is Love Birds from Nutcrafters.  This little birdies reminded me of all the baby chicks that you see around Springtime.  The ribbons are from American Crafts - the Easter one I've had for a while.  I teamed the Easter one with a bright yellow grosgrain ribbon.  I have added a big yellow wooden button and then an arc of rhinestones.

Spring Time Froggie

I have used some lovely spring paper as a background for this spring card:

The card is for the following challenges:
Seems a Little Sketchy - Sketch
http://seemsalittlesketchy.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/sketch-35-robins-nest-and-crafty.html
Scribbles Designs - Green

QKR Stampede - Animal Antics
 http://qkrstampede.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-32-animal-antics.html

The paper that I have used comes from Peppercus Designs.  The image is from Scribbles Designs.  I have used some Spellbinders dies - circle and labels - for die-cutting image and matting.  The labels die-cut has been edged with some Distress Ink - Peeled Paint.  I have also added some bling to the corners.

Purple Layered Fairy

A lovely layered card for a change:

This card is for the challenges at:
Whoopsi Daisy - Use A Digi
http://cutedaisymay.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/use-digi-challenge.html
CRAFT Challenge - Mother's Day/Female
http://trimmiescraftchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/challenge-200-28th-of-march-mothers.html

The card uses a combination of purple metallic paper and some paper from a matstack by DCWV called Rockstar Matstack.  The image is from Whoopsi Daisy and the embellishments are some purple rhinestones and a flower crafted from some of the metallic paper cut with a Marianne's die.

Embossed White Fairies

When I had a challenge that called for a white embossed background, I didn't want to overpower that background with the image so have kept the colour scheme soft throughout.

The card is for the following challenges:
A Day for Daisies - white embossed background
http://www.adayfordaisies.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/new-release-032213-light-as-cloud.html
Love to Create - Use pastels
http://lovetocreatechallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-58-pastel-colors.html
Incy Wincy - Use pastels
http://incywincydesigns.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/use-pastels-and-winners.html

I have used an embossing folder called Poinsettia Flowers  to create the background.  I then added some tiny white pearls to the centres of the flowers.  The image is from A Day for Daisies and can be found by following the challenge link above.  I have coloured the image with pastel colours with the exception of the red heart.

Circular Polar Bear

This was a card that I started creating some time ago and then put aside because I didn't know how to finish it!

With the addition of some bling and some carefully placed Glossy Accents, I am now happy with it.

The card is for the challenges at:
Kenny K's Krafty Krew - Anything Goes
http://kennykskraftykrew.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/challenge-136-anything-goes.html
Stamptacular Sundays - Fuzzy Friends
http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-208-fuzzy-friends.html
Little Tangles - Shaped Cards
http://littletangles.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-9-shaped-cards.html
Glitter n Sparkle - Animals
http://glitternsparklechallengeblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-25-at-glitternsparkle.html

The cardstock has been die-cut using a Spellbinders Scallop Circle die.  The image that I have used for this card is from Kenny K.  I have lightly coloured the image using some copic markers and then added some Glossy Accents to the water.  I added some bling to the scallops to give the card a bit of a sparkle.

I'm not sure whether this card fits the challenge at Stamptacular Sundays.  The blog rules says to included a stamped image.  Not clear on whether this is rubber and acrylic stamps only or if it extends to include digi stamps!  Have entered with a digi stamp this time and will see what happens!

A Floral Thank You

A purple and blue colour scheme for this card:

The card is for the following challenges:
Digi Darla - Flowers
http://digidarlas.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/ddc55-flowers.html

The lovely smiling fella on this card is an image from Digi Darla.  The sentiment is from Desert Diva and has been die-cut using a Spellbinders Tag die.  The purple flowers are ribbon roses coloured with a copic marker to match the flowers in his hand.  I have also added a triangle of decreasing size purple rhinestones.  Background papers are both from a paper pad by Glitz.

I realised too late that I forgot to add DD beside my entry as I used a Digi Darla image - sometimes I wish there was an edit button on Inlink!

Cupcake - For You

A card to make me feel hungry!

The card is for the following challenges:
Robyn's Fetish - Food or Drink
http://robynsfetishchallengeblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-152-food-or-drink-3242013.html

Sunday Sketch and Stamp - Sketch
http://sundaysketchandstamp.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-149-sjoukjes-sketch.html

I am also adding this card to the following gallery:
Limited Runs - Customer Gallery
http://limitedrunsstamps.blogspot.co.nz/p/customer-gallery.html

This is another card using up some of my offcuts from other card.  The purple is a metallic paper.  The image is from Limited Runs and the sentiment from Paper Smooches.  Colouring of the image is with copic markers and the stitching is with a Distress Marker.

A photo and sketch inspiration

This card has it's inspiration from a photo as well as a sketch!

The card is for the following challenges:
Catch The Bug - Photo Inspiration
http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/photo-inspiration-challenge-for-bugaboo.html
Stella Says Sketch - Sketch 133
http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/stella-says-sketch-challenge-133.html

I have used off-cuts of paper from other cards for this card.  The image is from Bugaboo and is called Abby Umbrella.  I actually remembered to note the copic colours I used this time - YR11, Y08, BG15, B000 and E000.  The edging of the image is swiped with Distress Ink - Mustard Seed.

The star embellishments were some I found in a clearance sale a fortnight ago.  I have also used some rhinestones and glitter tape as embellishments.

Spring Lamb

I was inspired to create a nice soft colour palette for this card.

The card is for the following challenges:
Shelly's Images - March Bonus
http://shellysimagesblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/bonus-challenge-march-2013.html
Glitter n Sparkle - Animals
http://glitternsparklechallengeblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-25-at-glitternsparkle.html
Love to Create - Use pastels
http://lovetocreatechallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-58-pastel-colors.html

Tuesday Alchemy - Pastel monochromatic
http://tuesdayalchemy.blogspot.gr/2013/03/challenge-53-over-pastel-rainbow.html

The card uses some background paper from a paper pad by MME.  I have added some cream organza ribbon over the join between this paper and the cardstock base.  I have used some cream metallic paper for matting and die-cutting.    Although the heart and flowers in this photo look different colours, they have been cut from the same paper (I think the flash reflection has altered the colour of the heart).  The dies are from Marianne's Designs.  I have also added a couple of pearls to the card.

Add a little colour to every day

Another photo inspired card:

This card is for the following challenges:
TAWS - Be Inspired 24
http://www.thealleywaystamps.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/be-inspired-challenge-24-happy-birthday.html

I have used some background paper from a paper pad as the base for this card.  The image and sentiment are both from The Alley Way Stamps.  I have used Spellbinders dies for the die cutting.  Colouring is with copic markers and I also applied kindy glitz to the paint on the brush.  The card is embellished with some glitter tape from American Crafts and some small rhinestones.

Triple Easter Eggs

Another CAS time - this time for Easter:

The card is for the following challenges:
Totally Papercrafts - Easter Egg
http://totallypapercrafts.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-159-easter-eggstravaganza.html
Just Some Lines - Easter
http://justsomelinesblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/new-challenge-bunnies-chicks-easter-eggs.html
Digi Haven - Easter
http://digihaven.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/easter-challenge-sponsored-by-ds4j.html

http://kaboodledoodles.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-164-easter-or-early-spring.html
Outlawz Challenge - Copic markers
http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/group/copicchallenge

I edged the white cardstock with some Distress Ink - Spiced Marmalade.  The image from Just Some Lines has been repeated three times, die-cut then matted on to metallic paper.  I have added some pale orange rhinestones to match in with some of the pastel colouring in the eggs.  For the colouring, I have used copic markers in the YR and Y range.

Easter Blessings

I carried through the wavy lines on the egg to the background paper for this card:

The card is for the following challenges:
My PaperCrafting World - Anything Goes
http://mypapercrafting.com/search/label/Digi%20Desserts%20Fridaze
Totally Papercrafts - Easter + easter egg

Kaboodle Doodles - Easter or early spring
http://kaboodledoodles.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-164-easter-or-early-spring.html

I have used a background paper from a paper pad.  The image comes from My PaperCrafting World and is coloured using copic markers.  The embellishments for the card are a couple of ribbon roses along with multi-coloured rhinestones.

Triple Christmas Puds

Back to another christmas card!!!

This card is for the following challenges:
CHNC - 3 of something
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/chnc-challenge-117-3-of-something.html
CHNC - Anything christmas
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge2.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/chnc-challenge-extra-for-march.html
Beccy's Place - Anything Goes
http://beccysplace.blogspot.com.au/2013/03/march-challenge.html

I have used a background paper from a paper pad.  The image is part of a Beccy's Place image.  I have just used one row of the 3 x 3 christmas puds.  This image is so versatile in how it can be used and also comes with some variations in design!  I coloured the puds using my copic markers and then used Glossy Accents for the icing to give it a nice wet and shiny look!  The matting is from a green themed scrap paper pack which I have nearly all used now!

Happy Easter Butterfly

This card is a bit of a combination of spring and easter:

The card is for the following challenges:
Digi Haven - Easter
http://digihaven.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/easter-challenge-sponsored-by-ds4j.html
QKR Stampede - Easter Fun
http://qkrstampede.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-31-easter-fun-whats-in-your.html
Broken Box Stock - Easter
http://brokenboxstock.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-22-easter.html
Kaboodle Doodles - Easter or early Spring

Digi Stamps 4 Joy - Easter
http://digistamps4joy-sa.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-63-celebrating-easter.html

For this card, I have combined a lovely image from Digi Stamps 4 Joy with a sentiment from Create with TLC.  I then die-cut these using a Spellbinders die and matted onto metallic paper.  The background paper is from a paper pad by DCWV called Marioposa Matstack.  The butterfly embellishment is a die from Memory Box which I have embellished with a small rhinestone.

Thank You Note Card

This is such a cute size to work with!

The card measures 7.5cm x 7.5cm so it is small!

The card is for the challenges at:
Meljens Designs - Teeny Weeny
http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-152-itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny.html

The image is from Meljens Designs - I thought this was just perfect for this size project.  I have die-cut the image using a fancy edged square die from Spellbinders which was just the right size!  I covered the cardstock with some orange metallic paper to set off the image.  I found some matching diamond shaped rhinestones which fitted perfectly into the corners of the die-cut.

Swirly Flower

Time to make another Thank You card:

This card is for the following challenges:
Milk Coffee - Go Green
http://milkcoffeechallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/go-green-challenge.html

I have used an image from Milk Coffee called Swirly Flower, die-cut with Spellbinders and layered on to some green from a green themed scrap paper pack.  I have used a green copic marker to colour the edging of the tag and also parts of the flower - the remainder done with Crystallina Kindy Glitz. The sentiment that I have used is from Create with TLC and die-cut with a Spellbinders Tag Die.  I have added some rhinestones for a bit of bling.

Floral Inspiration Photo

The inspiration for this card came from the challenge photo at CRAFT Challenge:

The card is for the following challenges:
CRAFT Challenge - Inspiration Photo
http://trimmiescraftchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/challenge-199-21st-of-march-inspiration.html

I have used up some leftover background paper and edged it with some deep pink lace.  The image that I have used comes from Create with TLC.  I have had this image printed out for some time but couldn't decide a colour scheme for it until I saw the photo for the CRAFT Challenge.

Joy

Time for a card without a digi image!

The card is for the challenges at:
Crimbo Crackers - No Stamped Images
http://crimbo-crackers.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-37-no-stamped-images.html
CHNC - Three of Something (Buttons and/or letters)
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/chnc-challenge-117-3-of-something.html
CHNC - Anything Christmas
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge2.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/chnc-challenge-extra-for-march.html

The card uses a die-cut from Memory Box cut from green scrap paper from a scrap pack.  This piece has been layered on to some purple metallic paper.  I have embellished the card with three glitter domes and a strip of green Glitter Tape from American Crafts.  I think these came from different companies but the colour matched perfectly.

Gingham and checks

Whenever I see gingham, it reminds me of my food technology aprons at school.  My intermediate one was about the same colour as the gingham on this card - my secondary school one was a chocolate brown!

The card is for the challenges at:
Penny's Paper - Gingham and/or checks
http://pennyschallenges.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-119-gingham-andor-checks.html

Inspired by my memories of school aprons, I chose an image from Sassy Studio Designs called Backpack Brandy!  I have coloured her using copic markers and then die-cut using Spellbinders.  The matting is some metallic paper that I bought yesterday.  I bought some a couple of weeks ago on clearance and they have been fabulous - went into the shop again yesterday and they still had some left so I bought some more colours! I have also added three red buttons which are from my Mum's button box.  She has had that box full of buttons for as long as I can remember.  Last year when I visited her she let me sort through the box and take any I wanted.  I have been progressively using them over the past year but still have quite a few left yet!  I have also added a strip of Glitter Tape from American Crafts.

Christmas Tag

This one is a bit of an over-sized tag for a larger present.  The small tags always seem to get lost!

Probably not the best time of the day to photograph this tag, as the sun is shining brightly and casting shadows!  Still I'm not going to complain about the sun!!

The tag is for the challenges at:
Christmas Challenges {with sketches}
http://christmaschallenges.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-65-with-bugaboo-and-twist.html
Brown Sugar - Anything Goes
http://brownsugarchallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-34-anything-goes.html
Crafting for All Seasons - Anything but a card
http://craftingforallseasons.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-48-anything-but-card.html
CHNC - Anything Christmas
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge2.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/chnc-challenge-extra-for-march.html
CHNC - Three of something (snowflakes)
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/chnc-challenge-117-3-of-something.html

I have hand cut the tag and then rounded the corners with a Carl Craft Corner Rounder.  The paper is from a paper pad by Forever Friends called "A Christmas Tale".  The image that I have used comes from Bugaboo and is called Ava Snow Globe.  I have coloured the image with copic markers and then die-cut some snowflakes as embellishments.  The tie is a velvet "shoe-lace".

The sketch that I have used is from Christmas Challenges {with sketches}.  I made one modification to the sketch missing out one of the snowflakes as with the size of the snowflakes I used it looked too crowded!  The general idea of the sketch is there though.

Snowman and snowflakes

A very wintry card that kind of seems weird to create when we are springtime!

The card is for the following challenges:
Bearly Mine Challenges - Anything Goes
http://bearlymine-challenges.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/challenge-78-anything-goes.html
Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sketch as below
http://sweetsketchwednesday.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/sweet-sketch-wednesdays-198.html
Lady Anne's Progressive Christmas Challenge - Anji's Antics images
http://www.ladyanneschallenges.com/6/post/2013/03/christmas-progressive-challenge-3.html

The sketch that I have followed for this challenge is this one:

The background papers for this card come from Bearly Mine Designs and work really well with this image.  The image is one of two images supplied by Anji's Antics for the challenge at Lady Anne's Progressive Challenge.  The other additions to this card are some snowflakes from a Spellbinders die and blue metallic paper.  The snowflakes have been embellished with some matching Kaisercraft pearls - couldn't believe how well they matched!  I have also used some green Glitter Tape from American crafts and a sentiment from Dana's Inspirations.

I have used a background paper from a paper pad by Glitz.  The image and sentiment are both from Fresh Squeezed Stamps.  The matting is cardstock from Rosies Studio.  The button embellishment is one that I got from my mother and is probably over 30 years old!!

The sketch that I have followed can be found on the Delightful Inspiration blog by following the link above.

The challenge for Fresh Squeezed Stamps has two winners - one random and the other is the one with the most likes.  I would appreciate some votes for the card above by following this link:

Sunday 24 March 2013

Whoopsi Daisy

I am not sure that this card meets the Punch it Out but as I've used a Whoopsi Daisy image, it can meet the Anything Goes!

The card is for the following challenges:
http://cutedaisymay.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/punch-it-out-challenge.html

The background paper is the offcut from a card I created yesterday.  The matting for the image is from a scrap paper pack.  I have used the same paper to punch out the flowers using a Marianne's Die.  The image is from Whoopsi Daisy.  I have also added three green pearls.

Happily Ever After

This card has a bit of a vintage feel to it - inspired by the image:

The card is for the following challenges:
Stamptacular Challenge - I Do
http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-207-i-do.html

I have used a background paper from a paper pad.  The image is from Create with TLC.  My stamping is the sentiment which is from Grant Archival clear stamps.  I have also added some diamond shaped rhinestones and "aged" the image and sentiment with some Distress Ink - Vintage Photo.

One for the Girls

Since I seem to spend most of my life around water, an aquatic themed card is fitting:

The card is for the following challenges:
Kenny K - One for the Girls

The background paper is from a paper pad.  The image is from Kenny K and coloured using copic markers to match the background.  I added some rhinestones to the background paper and used some Kindy Glitz to add a sentiment.

Saturday 23 March 2013

Bugaboo Green

I really wanted to use this image from Bugaboo Stamps but St Patrick's Day had come and gone and I still hadn't created with it.  But.....St Patrick's Day comes around again next year so I'm prepared early!!!

The card is for the following challenges:
Catch the Bug - BINGO
http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/its-saturday-and-bingo-challenge-awaits.html
Sunday Sketch and Stamp - Catherine's Sketch
http://sundaysketchandstamp.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-148-catherines-sketch.html

I have used a couple of backing papers from my stash along with some green lace to create the base panel.  The image is from Bugaboo Stamps and coloured using copic markers.  I die-cut the image using Spellbinders and then added some green pearls to the corners.  I have also added some narrow satin ribbon to the card.

My BINGO line for the Catch the Bug challenge is:
Green
Lace
Pearl

Paper Pieced Springtime Card

I find paper piecing quite difficult due to my not so good eyesight.  However, I don't like to be beaten by challenges (okay I'm stubborn!!) so I just had to give it my best shot!

The card is for the following challenges:
The Sweet Stop - Sketch + Springtime
http://sweetstopsketches.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/sss202-sketch-with-spin-and-prize.html
Sassy Studio Designs - Dare to Be Sassy Thursday
http://sassystudiodesigns.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/dare-to-be-sassy-thursday-169.html

I have used some papers for the background from my stash which are probably long overdue to be used!  I have added some grosgrain ribbons across the join between these papers.

The image is from Sassy Studio Designs.  It is one that came with a challenge last year and may well be a retired image now.  The paper that I have used for the paper piecing is one from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The remainder of the colouring is by copic markers.

http://brownsugarchallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-34-anything-goes.html

For this card, I have used a couple of matching papers from my stash that probably should have been used ages ago!  The green strip and the matting are from a paper pad by DCWV.  The punch that I have used on the green strip is one from Martha Stewart called Eyelet Lace Border Punch.  The circles have been die cut using Spellbinders dies.  The image is from Bugaboo and has been coloured with copic markers.  I have also added some green pearls as a finishing touch.

Merry and Bright

When I found this paper with the words Merry and Bright on it, I just had to use it for this card!

This card is for the challenges at:
CHNC - Merry and Bright
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/chnc-challenge-116-merry-and-bright.html
CHNC - Anything Christmas
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge2.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/chnc-challenge-extra-for-march.html

I have used the Merry and Bright paper from a paper pad by MME.  The image is from Floppy Latte and is called Christmas Toy Tuba.  Being a musical family, I was drawn to this image!  I hav coloured the image using some brightly coloured copics, die-cut using a Spellbinders Labels die and then edged with silver Stickles.  The glitter tape along the top is some I found on clearance sale recently.

CAS Rose Card

Another Clean & Simple card - I love the clean lines of these.

This card is for the following challenges:
Annabelle Stamps - Colour Palette
http://annabellestamps.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/ac158.html
Birdie Brown - Birthday Challenge #2
http://birdiebrown.blogspot.jp/2013/03/the-2nd-birthday-challenge-2.html

The card uses white cardstock, copic markers, rhinestones and an image from Birdie Brown (which I have repeated).  I coloured the image and some of the white cardstock with copic markers to achieve the matting colours that I wanted.

Soft Pastel Easter card

A card to celebrate Spring and Easter with soft pastel colours:

The card is for the following challenges:
Digi Darla -  Easter/Spring
http://digidarlas.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/ddc54-easterspring.html
Glitter n Sparkle - Easter/spring colours
http://glitternsparklechallengeblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-24.html

The card uses some Easter paper from my stash along with an offcut from another card.  The offcut is a spring paper by Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The image is from Digi Darla.  It is probably meant to be more of a Valentines image but I thought it would be just lovely for an Easter Card.  The copic markers that I have used on this card are Y000, G000, V000, E000.

A CAS card focussing on the lovely heart border!

The card is for the following challenges:
Tiddly Inks - CAS
http://www.tiddlyinkschallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/challenge-105-cas.html

The card uses an image from Tiddly Inks which has been matted with orange scrap paper and then mounted on the card.  The card has some bling for interest but otherwise is clean and simple!

An Anniversary Waltz

My parents' wedding anniversary always seems to creep up on me without a card prepared.  I seem to have plenty of time then suddenly I haven't!  This year, I'm prepared early as this image was just perfect.

The card is for the challenges at:
Doodle Pantry - Anything Goes
http://doodlepantryblog.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/doodle-pantry-digital-challenge-32.html

I have used papers, sentiment and image all from Doodle Pantry to create the card.  There are three papers used - two in the background and the third for matting the sentiment!  The image has been coloured/part coloured using copic markers.  I think the colours used were Y38 (that is the one I'm not sure on!), C1, W3 and W5.  I have used a Distress Marker for the stitching.  Dies are Spellbinder.

Buttons and Bow

A mint colour theme for this card:

The card is for the following challenges:
Whoopsi Daisy - Buttons and/or bow
http://cutedaisymay.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/buttons-or-bows-challenge-hop-winners.html

Even though I could have done an anything goes as I used a Whoopsi Daisy image, I like to be challenged (keeps the old grey cells working!).  The paper that I have used comes from a paper pad by MME.  The mint grosgrain ribbon is from American Crafts.  The buttons were out of a mixed bag in my stash.

Lavender and Lace
